DIAVY DEVELOPS 2 NEW RANGES OF PRODUCTS

We are pleased to attach a short presentation of our new HOLO-BLACK and HOLO-WHITE range.

HOLOGRAPHY IS NOW DRESSED WITH A  NEW TRANSPARENCY.....

Holography is always used for innovative packaging, with the aim of attracting the eye of consumers.

This technology, which cannot be obtained by any priting nor ink,  is often used for marketing campaigns for the launch of new products or for the renewal of products which are already present on the market when a “refreshing” marketing impulse is necessary.

The core of Holography is light.

Fragmenting and reflecting light into million of different directions,  holography gives to the product different colours, depending on the point of view and on the light corner.
This is the reason of the natural attraction of the human eye for holograhic packaging!

Anyway, there are some products where the silver metallisation of traditional holography risks to be too invasive or too heavy.

For this type of products, looking for an elegant, soft and pleasant effect, Diavy offers the same range of patterns or customised designs, but with 2 different types of transparent metallisations.

We are therefore very happy to introduce to you 2 technologies which enlarge our standard range:

-Holo-white:
obtained by using a special metallising process leaving the film transparent and holographic, without the “metal” effect that a traditional metallisation would bring.

-Holo-black:
obtained by using a special metallising process which slightly darkens the film, leaving a good level of transparency and in the meantime making the holographic effect more evident.

Both Holo-black and Holo-white protect the holographic embossing and make it more evident and visible, giving to the product an elegant and renewed aspect.

Thanks to these 2 metallising processes, the holographic film is perfectly suitable for lamination on printed surfaces. It remains transparent and is therefore able to protect the printed surface, stressing it and making it more evident.
Without the metallisation process, in some cases lamination would not be possible because the adhesive been used would cover the holographic embossing.

Holographic films with transparent metallisation can normally be found on passports, driving licences, but also on labels etc.. where the holo effect is requested as anti-counterfeiting system or as customised product, without being too much invasive.

Diavy's R&D Dept. is always attentive to the evolutions of packaging field. That's why we are now able to offer new concrete proposals for this always developing market.
